Here is a document I found on HeliFreaks from John Garst about setting up the JR G500T Gyro. I haven't tried this yet but will be trying it out soon. I will report my findings back here.

JRG500T Setup

This article is assuming that you are using the Gyro function in a JR radio and not using the Gear channel to adjust the gain.
